An independent archive of industry data on Italy's furniture-making districts. This site does not sell anything, represent manufacturers, or accept commercial content. It documents publicly available production and trade statistics with source references.
OakLedger.eu focuses on three production zones that collectively generate the majority of Italy's furniture export value: the Brianza district in Lombardy, the Livenza-Quartier del Piave cluster spanning Veneto and Friuli, and the Pesaro kitchen furniture district in Marche.
For each district, the archive documents: production volumes and annual turnover, firm-size distribution and employment figures, materials sourcing patterns and supply chain structure, the ratio of artisanal to industrial manufacturing methods, and the export corridors and destination markets.
Data is drawn from publicly available institutional sources. Primary references include:
Where figures from different sources diverge, the more recent publication is preferred and the discrepancy is noted in the relevant article. Data is updated when new quarterly or annual reports are published by the source institutions.
This archive takes no position on trade policy, industry lobbying, or individual company performance. It does not comment on labour disputes, environmental compliance, or product quality rankings. The objective is to maintain an accurate, cited factual record that researchers, journalists, and industry analysts can reference.
